Understanding is an experience.

Our infatuation with technological progress often blinds us to the simple truth that it is people that give meaning to information. We do this not via algorithms and devices, but first hand experience of our judgements, decisions and actions.

Complex problems demand even more complex solutions we’re told; bigger data, better models, newer technologies and more computational force are all required to conquer our uncertainties about the world. Our growing appetite for scientific enlightenment has locked us into a duality of accelerating complexity and its necessary equivalent technological controls.

As theoretical knowledge became the exclusive preserve of science, the essential development of a complementary body of practical knowledge; a human understanding of how to interpret the booming buzzing confusion that we now inhabit, was undermined and ultimately stalled.

Noble Innovate created the Axios Programme as an initiative to continuously develop an applied practice of decision making, where primacy is given to the development of key necessary personal skills and attributes leading to greater understanding and self-determining action in our uncertain world.

Axios3 is the result of decades of experience and years of dedicated research and development, we believe it is far more than an instrument or tool for decision making – we believe Axios3 is decision making.

David Noble

David Noble

Founder & Director

David is the founder and a director of Noble Innovate, and is primarily responsible for operational and technical direction, he strives to live and work by his own two word maxim – add simplicity.

Prior to founding Noble Innovate, and subsequent to selling his previous company, he was involved in a series of innovative projects in developing bio-feedback wearable technologies, prosthetics and specialised printing processes, amongst others.

David has held numerous technical, operational and managerial roles across a wide range of industries, including electrical, mechanical and chemical engineering, water and waste treatment, electronics and telecomms.

Always taking an innovatory approach to products and practices, he went on to establish a company dedicated to designing and developing an innovative range of power and thermal technologies for application in telecomms and micro-cleanroom environments.

David’s interests include aerobatic flying, motorcycle touring and racing, alongside a passion for his library, reading and writing, with two books in progress and planned for publishing this year and next.
