Learning In Action

Thinking for doing - Learning from doing

Axios3 - Learning Matters

Learning from experience - because it matters to you.

Learn from experience we’re told, but the truth is we rarely do it well – enough. The quality of our experience runs the range of our senses and emotions; as a consequence not all experience is created, or at least perceived, equally. The same is true of value and utility; some experiences are simply better than others, and carry within them greater prospects for improving our learning.

Axios3 Learning In Action workshops are single days dedicated to achieving a single outcome, improving your decision making. Remarkable gains are achievable in our unique insight-full experience, an all action tour of making better decisions, thinking for doing and learning from doing.

Axios3 - Learning In Action

Thinking for doing - Learning from doing.

Decision making and learning are two faces of a coin that we must spend in life; we have no choice but to choose, and those choices enforce learning upon us as an inevitable consequence of our actions.

Axios3 Learning In Action is a practice that concerns itself with the qualities of our judgement, actions and learning; starting by paying attention to what matters to us individually. Our experience, learning, and decision making are crucially dependent on our ability to interpret and innovate in seeking to obtain what matters most to us – the outcomes we desire.

The Axios3 Learning In Action programme generates an individualised practice of decision making; unique to what matters most to you.

Better Decisions - Development

Innovation is a widely misunderstood concept; we are all expert serial innovators as we judge, choose and determine our actions in a world of infinite complexity and uncertainty.

Axios3 Better Decisions is a course of applied learning and development that generates new perceptions, insight and understanding, transforming your experience of the world and enhancing the skills and tools you already possess, while adding a few more besides.

Our Axios3 Learning In Action programme is dedicated to improving decision making, starting out as a journey into the familiar and re-conceiving it as a new world of exploration, opportunity and possibility.

Learning In Action - FAQ's

We all learn all the time, we can’t pause our learning which often means that we learn the wrong things, or badly learn the right things. Our workshops are guided introductions to what learning can really do – when it matters.

We offer 1:1 programmes and consultations, mentoring and online support for Axios3. The nature of the workshops places particular demands on the quality of personal interactions which are harder to replicate in an online environment, so we only offer workshops offline.

The Axios3 Learning In Action Workshops are designed to offer a high value entry point for anyone interested in developing the human skills and tools of decision making. Decision making is an applied skill, and one not tied to intelligence.

An Axios3 Learning In Action workshop is a unique first step on a path to understanding and improving your decision making. What better place to start than by bringing your own live decision making situation along with you?

We create and run different types of workshop structure to suit the desired outcome. We focus on creating an environment most conducive to learning and interaction. Workshops exclusive to one company may have an emphasis on lower participant numbers, whereas others can work better with larger groups of attendees.

We are so confident in our Axios3 programme that we guarantee to improve your decision making if you complete one of our open group workshops. If you don’t feel an immediate improvement your decision making, we will refund you in full.

Simply send us a message registering your interest and we’ll send you details of our calendar of workshops, an outline of the workshop curriculum along with details of how it all works, and the important organisational/logistical details.

We’ll get you Axios-ready before you step foot in the workshop. Prior to attending, you’ll have a 30-minute conversation with the person leading your workshop. The aim will be to find out more about you and help ensure you get the most out of the workshop.

Our open workshops generally take place over a day, typically with around 5+ hours of participation. We develop each workshop to suit the number and range of participants, though our overall goals in the day remain the same – to improve your decision making from day one.

An objective of our workshops is to stimulate a long term desire to continuously improve your decision making by applying the basic principles and practice of Axios3, our Better Decisions programme takes you to the next step.

Central to our Learning In Action workshops is what matters to you, and there’s no better way to learn about decision making than to bring a live issue with you and work through it with us. We’ll help you identify and prepare your best “brung” prior to the workshop.

Ever been to a learning event that on the day seemed to offer so much promise, but just days later, you’ve forgotten all or most of what you learnt? We’ve designed this programme to do the opposite. Included in your workshop is a 60-minute follow-up consultation with your workshop leader, where you will have the opportunity to call the shots on what you want to discuss.
